Six Weeks Test

6 Weeks Test Review

DEFINITIONS:
The students need to be able to define

Music as "emotion expressed through sound."
Beat as "a pulse that is continuous and has the same amount of time between each pulse."

They need to recognize the meaning of these words from "The Star Spangled Banner"
dawn- when the sun comes up
twilight - when the sun goes down
broad stripes- 2 feet wide
perilous- dangerous
o'er- over
ramparts- walls of the fort
gallant- brave
yet-still

Song LYRICS:

Students will need to be able to fill in the blank on a matching test for
"The Star Spangled Banner"
"The Rattler Fight Song"
"The Rattler Alma Mater"

We play the game the best that we can.
All you snakes of SM High.
We're out to fight! Fight! Fight!

Yay! Purple!
Yay! White!
Yay! Rattlers!
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Snakes fight!
Snakes fight!
Yay! Snakes fight!

Rattler Alma Mater

Hail to dear old SM High School
High upon a hill.
